Study Meeting 2010
Department of Philosophy
University of Nottingham
6 May 2010
- Programme: DOC
The British Philosophy of Sport Association Study Group is holding a work in progress seminar at the Department of Philosophy, University of Nottingham on Thursday 6th May 2010. The aim of the seminar is to allow more detailed discussion of papers (while they are under construction) than is usually possible at conferences. As a consequence, four papers will be read and discussed, each in a seventy-minute slot. The event is cheap (free) and hopefully cheerful (lunch will not be provided). Should you wish to attend the seminar, please contact Leon Culbertson. Space is limited, and it is essential that we have an accurate idea of numbers prior to the event.
Please note that Thursday 6th May is the day of the General Election. Should you wish to vote, please ensure that your travel arrangements allow you to return home in time to do so – polling stations close at 10.00pm.
The seminar will be held at the following location (unless numbers are such that it is necessary to move to a larger room):
Room C19, Trent Building
University Park
Nottingham NG7 2RD
Our host is Professor Stephen Mumford; he can be contacted on 0115 95 15847 should anyone have difficulty finding the room.
